Back in stock and now upgraded. Our Stainless Steel Biker Wallet Chain keeps the original leather and metal end fittings but now comes fitted with a proper 316L stainless steel curb chain.
We weren’t happy with the quality of the coated chains supplied on later batches, so we’ve replaced them. The new main chain is solid 316L stainless steel with a brushed finish – there’s no plating or coating on the chain to rub through, flake or tarnish.
The result is the same wallet chain design that’s been a popular part of the Rat-Ryder range, but now with a much better quality chain at its core.
Built for Bikers, Trikers & Everyday Use
The chunky 14mm wide curb chain measures approximately 82cm from end to end and is around 4mm thick, giving it plenty of presence without being ridiculously bulky.
It’s finished with black leather tabs, metal rivets and zinc-alloy fittings at either end. One end features a large lobster-style clasp for attaching to a belt loop, while the opposite end gives you plenty of options for attaching your wallet, keys or other gear.
The brushed stainless steel chain has a slightly darker, less shiny appearance than highly polished steel, which works brilliantly with the black leather and aged metal fittings.
Whether it’s hanging from your riding jeans, work trousers or everyday gear, it’s a practical bit of biker kit with a proper old-school look.
Please note: the main curb chain is solid 316L stainless steel. The end fittings are zinc alloy and the tabs are leather.
Why We’ve Upgraded This Wallet Chain
Earlier versions of this wallet chain used a coated metal chain. After noticing a drop in the quality of later batches, we weren’t happy continuing to sell them as they were.
Rather than ditching a design that’s always been popular, we’ve rebuilt them.
The original leather tabs and zinc-alloy end fittings remain, but we’ve replaced the main chain with a solid 316L stainless steel curb chain. It’s wider, thicker and has a brushed finish that suits the original fittings brilliantly.
No pretending a poor-quality coated chain is something it isn’t – we’ve simply replaced it with something we’d be happy to wear ourselves.
