Guardian Angel Motorcycle Bell

A highly detailed Guardian Angel Motorcycle Bell, made from solid 316L stainless steel and finished with a dark antique effect that really brings the design to life.

The front of the bell features a winged guardian angel riding a motorcycle, with the rider, bike and outstretched wings all picked out in raised three-dimensional detail. Above the rider sits a halo-style detail, completing the guardian angel design.

Rather than the bright polished finish of many of our other Guardian Bells, this one has an intentionally aged, antique appearance, with darker recessed areas highlighting the detail and giving it a proper old-school biker look.

Even the large attachment ring has decorative detailing rather than being a plain steel loop.

Antique-Finish 316L Stainless Steel

Made from solid 316L stainless steel, this isn’t a lightweight plated base-metal bell. There’s no plating to wear through, and the darker antique finish works with the recessed detailing to give the bell its aged character.

The bell itself measures approximately 4cm high, increasing to approximately 6cm overall including the large decorative attachment ring.

Inside is a working clapper, so this is a proper ringing Guardian Bell rather than simply a decorative motorcycle pendant.

With its combination of a guardian angel, motorcycle and traditional bell design, this one feels particularly suited to the meaning behind the biker Guardian Bell tradition.

The Guardian Bell Tradition

Guardian Bells – also known as Gremlin Bells – are part of a long-standing biker tradition. Legend has it that troublesome road gremlins become trapped inside the hollow bell, where the constant ringing drives them mad until they fall back onto the road.

Traditionally, a Guardian Bell is given from one rider to another as a symbol of protection and good luck on the road, although there’s absolutely nothing stopping you choosing one for your own bike.
